According to my pregnancy book, my fetus is the size of a softball. Which leaves me wondering why my stomach is the size of a large beachball. And led me to spend the best $70.00 of my entire life....on maternity jeans. The soft stretchy band and lack of zipper and buttons has endeared me to these pants far more than is appropriate. I may never go back to real pants. Ever. After walking around with the top button of my regular jeans unbuttoned, it feels so good to have pants that fit. It almost counteracts the depression of getting fat. Almost.
I am no longer working at the care center. The shifts were too long for me now that I am pregnant and sick. The working conditions were also terrible. I won't start a diatribe here. I have, however, found a new job I love. I work for a small (non-IHC...YEA!) surgical center. The shifts are shorter and the environment much better.
Ben's little sister, Kate, got married over Thanksgiving. We were able to go to Idaho for the wedding. Here are some pictures from the week....(I am notorious for forgetting to grab the camera so there aren't many).
My nephew Max helping me feel better. I am still sick--ALL day (I am convinced it was a man who coined the phrase "morning" sickness)

Jayne's three oldest kids, Ethan, Jackson and Kennedy in our car on the way to the luncheon.

Ben and I with Kate just after the wedding ceremony. It was FREEZING!!!!

You look good Jena! And you are not fat, you're pregnant (and I can barely even tell that in this picture). When are you due?
