It's a cold...It's the flu...NO! It's Morning Sickness!!!

Yes. After all these years we are finally able to say...I'm pregnant! Please note I did not say, "we're pregnant" because there is no "we" about it. The last time I checked, Ben has felt fine every day for the last 10 weeks. He is obviousy not pregnant. I, on the other hand, am pregnant and have the morning/all day/does this ever end? sickness to prove it. We saw the doctor for the first time last Thursday for my 10-week check up. Imagine my horror when the doctor told me our fetus only measured 8 weeks. A non-pregnant person might not think two weeks is a long time. They are right. In normal-person time, 2 weeks is nothing. But in pregnant-person time, two weeks is an outrage. It is an extra 336 sick-and-fat hours to live through. The doctor wanted to make sure everything was okay, so we had an ultrasound done this morning. We learned that I have an upside-down uterus and...that the fetus really is 10 weeks. I was so relieved I almost didn't mind the $200.00 charge. Almost. It was really cool to see our baby though. You can see it's nose really well in this picture. We are super excited about having a baby and can't wait till he (I am convinced it's a boy...Ben's not so sure) gets here.
