Aunt Michelle had fun with Emmerson's hair during bathtime. Although it doesn't look that much crazier than it usually does. Emmerson's latest thing is to carry a finger-puppet around in her mouth at all times. Kind of like our cat used to do. Ben is wondering if everything I raise turns out the same.

Emmerson LOVES to be on the move. Which means she REFUSES to snuggle. This is her being snugly (and it only lasts for about 10 seconds).

Chasing her cousin Andrew under the table.

I decided to start making my own baby food. Here is my first batch. I got the baby food freezer trays for Christmas and am excited for the chance to use them.

In case the last picture overwhelmed you with my parenting skills, here is a picture of Emmerson's first black eye. How did she get it? Crawling around the room during the parenting class Ben and I go to for Sunday School. Awesome. We had to leave church early, put ice on it and give her Tylenol. I felt like a HORRIBLE mother.

I think that she can totally pull off the mohawk. Such a sweetie. She is a driven little baby, hmmm...wonder where she gets that?

You are not a horrible mother. If I started thinking about the number of times my kids have rolled off the bed, bruised themselves (with and without help), or been hurt in any way I would feel horrible too. Just move on and think of it as bumps along the way.

wow... and I was thinking you must be a great mom because she made it this long before she got her first black eye. You should have seen Kanani's face when she fell out of the stroller about Emmy's age... it was a doozey, I'm suprised DCFS wasn't called.
