On the way home from school tuesday, i ran a stop sign. It was in Colorado City which means there are lots of bored policemen. This is my very first ticket, and I thought I would just get a warning, but I got a big fat ticket instead. I was shocked at the amount...see violation 28-855B for complete financial details. I think they charge so much to pay for medicaid for all the polygamists. It's the only thing that makes sense since in St. George its only $85. I am calling the Court on Monday to petition ("I'm a poor college student who won't be able to get a job because of the economy and I've never been pulled over before" type thing). Wish me luck in my battle against Moccasin Justice Court.

I got a speeding ticket here in Las Vegas (my fist one also) and I was only going 40 in a 35 zone. It was $190!
Should you have to appear in court, taking a few of your sister wives along may be helpful.
