Saturday Extraordinaire

There were all-you-can-eat crab legs. People were going WILD. Everyone was stacking their plates full of crab and shrimp. One man kept going back for plate after plate. We were grossly fascinated with watching him. This is a picture of him....except he moved at the last second and then a waitress told me to quit taking pictures.
The deserts looked amazing (taste-wise, I prefer a good old chocolate chip cookie).

Of note: my Grandma Ockey celebrated her birthday last week. She was the recipient of an I-pad, making her one of the the trendiest grandmas out there.

In an effort to de-stress us, my parents sent Ben and I on an all-day date last Saturday. The activity? Fulfilling one of Ben's life-long dreams: eating at the buffet at the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas. Normal humans may not understand the significance of this buffet, but any true buffet connoisseur (and believe me, Ben is one) would know that it is rated one of the top buffets in the world. We drove down Saturday morning, walked around an outdoor mall to work up an appetite and enjoy the warm weather, and then ate ourselves sick. It was just whate we needed. Thanks mom and dad!

What a great thing to do!

Was the buffet as good as Chuck A Rama?

Buffets. They were totally invented for Ben! What an awesome date for your parents to send you on. Glad you had a good time.
