Viva Park City

We stopped to visit Granny and Stu in Provo. Granny fixed us an amazing lunch. It was so fun to see them.
We weren't planning on snow, but were determined to hot tub no matter what. It was nice and warm in the hot tub, but a very cold walk back inside. Emmy LOVED it by the way.
My favorite sisters downtown Park City

Eating at Bombay House which is my all-time favorite restaurant. The Tiki Chicken Marsala is the BEST and the curry is a close second. Yes, I ate both of them in one sitting.

My family had never experienced the spectacle that makes up the corn maze at the Point of the Mountain. We got to watch a pig race, but strollers weren't allowed in the maze so we ended up skipping it. And that was fine since we were all freezing.

I really bundled Emmy up at the Corn Maze so she wouldn't freeze. She did NOT like that one bit.

About a year ago, Ben and I got suckered into buying a pre-paid vacation at a resort. We were planning on going to Gatlinburg, Tennessee which is one of my favorite places in the world during the fall season. Unfortunately, the week we booked our trip ended up being the only time we could go to Mayo Clinic. Which obviously trumps a vacation. There was no other availabilty at the resort in Tennessee, but we were able to switch our reservation (for the lovely fee of $100) to a sister resort in Park City. My parents were supposed to go to Spain this month, but when Ben was diagnosed with ALS, they cancelled it to be close by. We felt bad they missed their trip and invited them to stay with us in Park City. So, we ended up having a really fun--and snow-filled--week in Park City. It was nice to spend time with family and was just what we needed before heading to Mayo.
Side Note: We were hoping Ben's new handicap sticker would score us some awesome parking spots. Au contraire...handicap parking is not all it's cracked up to be. Bummer.

You look fabulous! I am glad that you had a great week before going to Mayo, you guys deserve it. It's so funny to see your family and what they look like now, I just see Jared as the kid who use to visit us at Miller. They have really grown up, as have you! :)
